All upcoming shows of D4vd were canceled as the musician, whose original name is David Anthony Burke, came under investigation following the discovery of a teen’s body from his car in Los Angeles. The teen, identified as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, was missing since 2024 and her family claimed that she was in a relationship with someone named David. Same name, D4vd’s car, matching tattoos are the unofficial factors linking the 20-year-old musician with a teen but police are looking for solid evidence of their connection and searched D4vd’s rented apartment. While cops said D4vd is cooperating in the investigation, speculations are rife about his whereabouts, as he’s a celebrity, a regular online streamer but has not been seen in public. As all his upcoming shows have been canceled and he has disappeared from the public view, questions are being raised whether D4vd has fled. “A TikToker claims they drove past D4vd’s Hollywood home last night, where lights were on and voices could be heard.D4vd remains under investigation. The public is confused as to why he hasn’t been arrested yet,” a purported video of D4vd’s house went viral.
Will LAPD arrest D4vd?
LAPD has remained tight-lipped about the progress of the investigation but confirmed that they found several pieces of evidence from the house search. It is not yet known how long Celeste had been dead for as when the police discovered the body, it was already rotting. The cause of Celeste’s death has not been announced yet.Several theories are doing the rounds as many believe Celeste was pregnant and that’s why she was killed. Another viral TikTok theory is that D4vd had been in touch with two different girls with the same name, Celeste etc.
