Parag Tyagi clarifies Shefali Jariwala never consumed anti-ageing drugs: 'She took multivitamins and collagen via IV'

The sudden death of actress Shefali Jariwala shocked the entire industry and her fans. Months after her demise, her husband Parag Tyagi has addressed circulating claims that she died due to taking anti-ageing medicines on an empty stomach.Speaking on the YouTube channel Shefali Parag Tyagi, Parag firmly rejected these reports, calling them “half-baked information.” He clarified that Shefali never consumed anti-ageing drugs in a harmful manner.“Shefali didn’t want to take multivitamins daily as she would forget them, so she took them through an IV drip once a month,” Parag explained. “These included multivitamins, Vitamin C, collagen, and glutathione, one of the best antioxidants.”

Shefali’s routine was balanced, not extreme

Addressing claims that Shefali was fasting on the day of her death, Parag said, “She did fast that day, but she had food after performing pooja, then slept, and ate again later. It wasn’t like she didn’t eat at all.”He further stressed that Shefali’s youthful appearance was the result of discipline and self-care, not mysterious anti-ageing treatments. “She controlled her diet but never deprived herself. She would enjoy ice cream or Chinese food on Sundays, and we worked out together after. She lived a balanced life,” he added.Parag also urged the public and media to stop spreading misinformation. “I don’t know where this fasting story came from. People just picked it up and spread it. I request everyone to find the truth before talking,” he said.Shefali Jariwala rose to fame with the 2002 music video Kaanta Laga and later appeared in films and reality shows, including Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, Baby Come Na, Ouch 2, Nach Baliye, and Bigg Boss 13.
