The restructuring of the GST framework was cleared during the 56th meeting of the GST Council earlier this month. Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu praised the Prime Minister for his continued focus on the Northeast’s development and thanked him for the GST reforms. “The GST Bachat Utsav is beginning today. I want to express my gratitude to PM Modi. Our traders and the public have received significant benefits under the next-generation GST reforms,” Khandu said.
