NEW DELHI: Counter Intelligence Kashmir on Saturday carried out searches at multiple locations across seven districts of the Valley in connection with an ongoing terror-related investigation.Officials said the coordinated operation covered eight locations in Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag, Kupwara, Handwara, Pulwama and Shopian. The searches were conducted under warrants obtained from a competent court.The raids come months after one of the deadliest terror attacks in recent years struck south Kashmir. In April, Pakistan-sponsored terrorists killed 26 civilians at Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam in Anantnag district, heightening security concerns across the region.Authorities have not disclosed whether any arrests or seizures were made during Saturday’s operation. However, sources said the searches are part of a wider crackdown on militant networks operating in the Valley.
