'Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra' box office collections day 22: Kalyani Priyadarshan's film winning hearts; cross Rs 128 crores

‘Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra’, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, continues its impressive box office journey. The fantasy action-drama, directed by Dominic Arun, has now grossed an estimated Rs 128.80 crore across all languages in India after 22 days.On Thursday, September 18, the film earned close to Rs 1.85 crore as per the early estimates by the Sacnilk website.

Box office numbers stay consistent for the Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer

The film opened at Rs 2.7 crore on Day 1 but quickly gained momentum over its first weekend by touching Rs 10.1 crore on Day 4. Strong word-of-mouth and good occupancy rates pushed it past the Rs 50 crore mark in its first week.Week two added another Rs 47 crore. By Day 22, the Malayalam version maintained an overall occupancy of 21.26%, with evening. The night shows showed the highest strength, over 25% and 30% respectively. The Telugu version, released as Kotha Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra, posted an occupancy of 14.54% on the same day.

Taking on her first major superhero-inspired role, Kalyani Priyadarshan has received appreciation for headlining the story with both emotional depth and high-octane action. Alongside her, Naslen K. Gafoor, Sandy Master, Arun Kurian, and Vijayaraghavan also play pivotal roles. Dulquer Salmaan, and Tovino Thomas appear as the characters Odiyan and Chathan in this superhero flick.
