A couple of days after a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander admitted to damage caused in Pakistan’s Bahawalpur during India’s ‘Operation Sindoor‘, another clip of the same commander is widely being shared on social media, wherein he could be heard saying that Pakistan Army chief General Asim Munir had advised top officers to attend the funerals of the terrorists killed in India’s counter-operation.

In the video, JeM commander Ilyas Kashmiri said the army chief of the country had said that the terrorists killed in India’s ‘Operation Sindoor‘ should be honoured.

The army chief had also ordered other commanders to attend the funerals and for heavy security during the event, the JeM commander could be heard saying.

The video also shows Pakistan’s Lt General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry in another frame, in an interview with the BBC, justifying the leaders of the country paying homage to the slain terrorists.

On being asked about the same, Sharif Chaudhry could be heard saying why Pakistan’s forces would not pay tributes to them.

Further, he could be heard claiming that India had yet not furnished proof of the Jaish-e-Mohammad being involved in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

Earlier, Kashmiri had admitted that the family of the terror group’s chief, Masood Azhar, was “torn into pieces” in the Indian missile strikes on May 7 on the outfit’s headquarters in Bahawalpur.

In the video, Kashmiri could be heard fuming over the Indian attack that killed the family members of Azhar and also bragging about fighting in neighbouring countries for Pakistan.
