Days after a dismembered body was found in singer D4vd’s discarded Tesla in Los Angeles, sensational details started pouring in after the body was identified as that of Celeste Rivas Hermandez, a 15-year-old girl. Celeste went missing from Lake Elsinor in 2024 and had no trace. Her mother told TMZ that her boyfriend’s name was David. Singer D4vd’s full name is David Anthony Burke, and interestingly, Celeste and singer D4vd share the same tattoo. But several celebs, including Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan, have the same tattoo that reads “Shhh”.

Body decomposed and was mutilated beyond recognition

Celeste’s body was wrapped in plastic and it was badly decomposed. Investigators revealed that at the time of death, she was wearing a tube top with black leggings. There was a yellow bracelet with similar stud earrings. Rivas’ mother told TMZ that she suspected that it was her daughter when they found a body in the trunk of a car.D4vd, meanwhile, has been cooperating with law enforcement and canceled his Wednesday gig in Seattle.

There is no confirmation of the link between D4vd and Celeste but the authorities have confirmed that Celeste died around September 8. The cause of death has been mentioned as “deferred” meaning it’s not yet clear. According to NBC News, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office confirmed in a statement that Rivas is the “juvenile who was reported missing from Lake Elsinore” last year.”The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating this incident as a homicide and will be the point of contact for any further details regarding this investigation,” the statement added, per the outlet.
