A purported video of a major Lashkar leader has surfaced in which he has claimed that the Pakistani government and army are funding the terrorist organisation to rebuild its headquarters in Muridke, which was destroyed during ‘Operation Sindoor’.

The video, whose authenticity could not be confirmed by News18, purportedly features Lashkar-e-Taiba deputy chief Saifullah Kasuri. In a video clip lasting almost two minutes, he is allegedly threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India over Kashmir.

Kasuri is reportedly the alleged mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack. In the video, he can be heard saying he has received money from the Pakistan government and army to rebuild Lashkar headquarters at Muridke.

In a direct message to Modi, he stresses that their “resolve remains strong” and, soon, “the rivers and dams of Jammu and Kashmir will belong to them”.

“He declared they would take revenge, are ready to sacrifice their lives, and warned of attempts to seize Indian dams, rivers, and territory in Jammu and Kashmir,” wrote an internet user on X, while sharing the video clip.
