US President Donald Trump inspected a Guard of Honour at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, joined by King Charles III, as he began his historic second state visit to the United Kingdom.

Trump arrived in Britain for a two-day visit, receiving a grand ceremonial welcome at the royal residence in Windsor. This marks the first time a US president has been invited for two state visits by the UK.

The formal welcome took place in the Quadrangle at Windsor Castle, where Trump and King Charles reviewed troops from the Guard of Honour. The president was accompanied along the line of soldiers by Lieutenant Colonel Storm Green, captain of the guard.

As the US national anthem played, Trump saluted and stood alongside King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Catherine, who were also present to greet the American leader and First Lady Melania Trump.

The event featured a full royal display of military pageantry. Around 1,300 members of the British armed forces took part, including 120 horses, gun salutes, bagpipes, and mounted cavalry. A 41-gun salute echoed from the castle’s east lawn, while a similar one was held at the Tower of London.
