Veteran actress and playback singer Vijayta Pandit once revealed that THIS actor’s film with Madhuri Dixit failed miserably at the box office. She had stated that his father invested everything he earned from the actor’s previous hit but lost it as the movie failed at the box office. We are talking about none other than actor Kumar Gaurav. Vijayta Pandit reveals how Kumar Gaurav’s films with Madhuri Dixit flopped

In an interview with Lehren Retro, veteran actress Vijayta Pandit shared that after Kumar Gaurav’s 15-20 films with Madhuri Dixit flopped at the box office, his father stepped in to produce another one. She said, “All were disasters.” She further added that Kumar Gaurav’s father, Rajendra Kumar, decided to take one last chance. She recalled Rajendra Kumar saying, “Me sabsi badi heroine ko lunga Bunty (Kumar Gaurav) ke sath—Madhuri Dixit. (I will take the biggest heroine with Bunty (Kumar Gaurav)—Madhuri Dixit.)”

The veteran actress went on to reveal that Madhuri charged a huge amount to play the role at that time. Vijayta Pandit added that the film was made, and “I think Rajendra ji apna pura paisa jo shayad ‘Love Story’ me kamaya tha, pura laga dia. (I think Rajendra ji invested all the money he had probably earned from ‘Love Story’.)” She further revealed, “Aur wohi film (And that film) ‘Phool’ became a fool, a disaster.”
