Madhya Pradesh: Truck runs over people in Indore, 2 killed

Two people have died after a truck ran over pedestrians in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore’s Airport Road.

A truck on Monday ran over pedestrians at Airport Road in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore.

Two people were killed in the incident, according to News 18 Madhya Pradesh-Chattisgarh.

The report said that more than 13 people were injured in the incident.

The report quoted the police as saying that the truck had entered into a no-entry area and struck pedestrians.

After the truck caught fire, the police said that the fire was likely a result of the accident, and it does not appear at the moment that the fire was set by people.

The police said that the driver will be questioned in custody to establish how the incident happened. The driver has not been identified, and it was not immediately clear if they had been arrested.

The news of the accident in Indore has come a day after a BMW car driven by a 38-year-old woman in Delhi hit a bike-borne couple. The man, a deputy secretary in the Union finance ministry was killed and the wife was injured in the accident. The woman, Gagandeep Kaur, has been arrested.
