Karisma recalls shooting Dil Toh Pagal Hai with young Shahid

Amid Sanjay Kapur inheritance battle, Karisma Kapoor recalls shooting Dil Toh Pagal Hai with young Shahid Kapoor: 'I used to blame him...'

Karisma Kapoor reminisced about ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ on Super Dancer 5, revealing a young Shahid Kapoor as a background dancer whose errors caused numerous retakes. She initially suspected Marzi Pestonji, but now wonders if Shahid was the real culprit. Meanwhile, Karisma is engaged in a legal battle concerning her late ex-husband’s estate, prioritizing her children’s inheritance.

Karisma Kapoor recently brought some 90s nostalgia to Super Dancer 5 by sharing a fun story from Dil Toh Pagal Hai. She revealed that a young Shahid Kapoor, long before he became a star, was a background dancer—and his little mistakes on set made everyone laugh.

Shahid Kapoor was a background dancer

On Super Dancer 5, the actress shared a fun throwback from Dil Toh Pagal Hai. She revealed that a young Shahid Kapoor, long before he became a star, was a background dancer—just like judge Marzi Pestonji. One dance number needed so many retakes, and it turned out the little troublemaker was Shahid!

Funny memories from the shoot

Karisma also shared a funny memory from the shoot, saying one dance scene kept needing many retakes. A young Shahid Kapoor, who was just a background dancer back then, kept saying sorry for the mistakes. She thought it was Marzi Pestonji causing the problems, but now she isn’t so sure. Marzi laughed, admitting he used to blame Shahid for everything that went wrong.

Karisma focused on her children amid legal battle

Meanwhile, Karisma is caught up in a tricky legal battle over her late ex-husband Sanjay Kapur’s huge estate. Her lawyer, senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani, said she isn’t looking out for herself. Her focus is entirely on making sure her children receive what Sanjay wanted through his trust, covering his assets in India, his businesses, and most of his overseas properties.
