Jacob Batalon, known for his role as Ned in the ‘Spider-Man’ franchise, revealed that his favourite use of his phone’s feature is ‘locations.’ Following the steps of his beloved character who created the ‘Spidey Tracker’ app, the 29-year-old shared that he keeps his wife’s location on his phone all the time. Jacob Batalon loves the locations feature – on and off the screen. “I definitely have my wife’s location [on my phone],” he said to PEOPLE, before quipping, “Because I’m like a lost child, you know, at the grocery store. And she helps me all the time. So that’s great.”In the film, Ned Leeds shares the ‘Spidey Tracker’ technology with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Expressing his astonishment, Jacob said he “had no idea that phones were capable of doing such things, and so it was very enlightening.”
When Jacob Batalon praised his character arc
Jacob Batalon has been playing the tech-savvy persona since ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ in 2017. “I think what’s really cool about Ned is that they never really lost his intelligence,” the actor said about his character arc, adding, “I think one of the main things that made him so cool was that not only was he a really great best friend, he was also just a really techie guy.”
