Madhuri Dixit and her husband, Dr Shriram Madhav Nene, have sold another apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu locality for Rs 4.40 crore, nearly 14 years after purchasing it for Rs 1.94 crore. The deal reflects a capital appreciation of around 127 percent, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.The transaction was registered on July 3, 2026, with the buyer paying a stamp duty of Rs 26.40 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000, the documents showed.

Apartment located in Mumbai’s Juhu locality

The apartment is situated on a lower floor of Iris Park, part of The Deep Varsha Co-operative Housing Society Ltd, on Military Road in the Juhu Vile Parle Development (JVPD) Scheme.According to the registration documents, the flat has a carpet area of 774 sq ft. The buyer is Sachin Shekar Shetty.The documents also revealed that the stilt car parking space originally attached to the apartment had already been sold separately to another homebuyer on December 15, 2025.

Bought for Rs 1.94 crore in 2012

Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Madhav Nene had purchased the apartment on June 4, 2012, for Rs 1.94 crore.With the latest transaction valued at Rs 4.40 crore, the couple has made an estimated 127 percent return on their investment over nearly 14 years.

Third property sold in eight months

This marks the third property sold by Madhuri Dixit in Mumbai within the last eight months, according to property registration documents.In December 2025, the couple sold another 780.13 sq ft apartment in the same Juhu building for Rs 3.90 crore. They had purchased that property for Rs 1.95 crore over 13 years earlier, generating an appreciation of nearly 99.22 percent.Earlier, in June 2026, Madhuri Dixit sold a commercial office space in Andheri West for Rs 4.85 crore. The office, located on the fourth floor of Morya Landmark II Premises Co-operative Society Ltd in Oshiwara, had been purchased nearly 18 years ago for Rs 52.5 lakh, resulting in an appreciation of nearly 824 percent.The office, spread across 1,594.24 sq ft of carpet area, was purchased by Frames Production Company Private Limited. The transaction attracted Rs 29.10 lakh in stamp duty and included three car parking spaces.

Juhu remains a celebrity real estate hotspot

Juhu continues to be one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential destinations for celebrities. The locality is home to several Bollywood personalities, including Amitabh Bachchan and Varun Dhawan, as well as numerous producers and filmmakers.Its central location, proximity to major film studios in Andheri, Goregaon, Bandra and Khar, along with premium sea-facing apartments and bungalows, has made Juhu one of the city’s most desirable luxury residential markets.According to local property brokers, residential apartments in the area are currently priced between Rs 60,000 and Rs 1 lakh per sq ft, reflecting sustained demand for premium homes in the micro-market.
