Malayalam superstar Mammootty and his wife, Sulfath, recently visited the newly completed home of late actor Cochin Haneefa’s family. The house holds emotional significance for the family, as it was completed after a 16-year wait.Cochin Haneefa’s brother-in-law Firoz opened up about the visit. He recalled how everyone present naturally focused on Mammootty, but Sulfath’s care left the strongest impression on him. Sharing his experience, Firoz wrote on social media, “Mammookka and his wife came to visit the house. While everyone else was focused on Mammookka, my attention was drawn to someone else—the wife of India’s megastar, the most handsome megastar in the country. She walks beside Mammookka like his shadow. Her simplicity, the way she dresses, the care she shows—words are not enough to describe it.The moment she saw me, she said that I should hold my sister close. While Mammookka was taking photographs with the children, I was recording a video. Without realizing it, my camera also captured her because she kept telling, ‘Hold the children a little closer.’When Mammookka was taking a selfie, she quickly came over and hugged the children. Before leaving, she gave my sister a gift and told her, ‘We’ll always be there with you, both Mammookka and I.'”
Mammootty’s greatest blessing is his wife
Firoz further wrote, “Mammookka once said in an interview that a wife should be respected and loved just like one’s mother because she eventually becomes a mother herself. He has also said that the most beautiful woman in his life is his wife. After witnessing their love, care, and happiness together, I truly understood that Mammookka’s greatest blessing is her. I pray that both of them are blessed with a long and healthy life.”
A visit filled with warmth
The visit became even more meaningful because Cochin Haneefa’s family finally completed the construction of their home recently. Mammootty and Sulfath spent time with the family, interacted with the children, posed for photographs and offered gifts before leaving.On the work front, Mammootty was last seen in the action entertainer ‘Patriot’, directed by Mahesh Narayanan. Mammootty will be next seen in Dhanush starrer ‘OM Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood’.
