He argued that voters ultimately chose an alternative political option based on their expectations. Kishor claimed that Jan Suraaj received support across the constituency, pointing out that the party won in a majority of polling booths in Bankipur. He rejected the idea that the victory belonged to only one particular community or voter group, stating that people from different backgrounds supported the party. On questions about whether the BJP should reconsider its leadership after the defeat, Kishor said one election result alone should not determine major political decisions. Addressing slogans from supporters after the victory suggesting bigger political ambitions, Kishor clarified that Jan Suraaj’s immediate focus is governance and development rather than making unrealistic claims.
