‘I miss my friend’: Anil Kapoor remembers late dear friend Satish Kaushik on friendship day
Friendship Day became an emotional occasion for Anil Kapoor as he paid tribute to his late friend and longtime collaborator Satish Kaushik. The veteran actor shared a heartfelt message on social media, remembering the bond they built over several decades. Along with a nostalgic clip featuring the two, Anil reflected on the friendship that stayed with him throughout his acting journey.Sharing his thoughts, Anil revealed that Satish Kaushik was the friend he always turned to during life’s happiest and most difficult moments. Whether it was sharing a laugh, venting frustrations or simply having a casual conversation, Satish always remained his closest companion. He wrote, “Happy Friendship Day to all my friends. Today, I’m especially missing my dear friend, Satish. You know, every one of us has that one friend… whenever you’re frustrated, upset, or you just want to pull your friends’ leg, gossip a little, or simply laugh about life, you call them. Nothing ever goes beyond that conversation. Satish was that person for me. I miss his humour, his energy, his incredible talent… but most of all, I miss my friend.”
A friendship that lasted a lifetime
Anil also reflected on how rare it is to find a friendship that lasts through every stage of life. He shared that while he had friends from his school and college days, Satish remained by his side from the beginning of his acting career until his final days. The actor continued, “It’s not easy to find someone who stays with you through an entire journey. I had friends from school and from my St. Xavier’s days… but Satish was the friend who was with me from the day I started my acting career, right till the day he left us. We grew together, laughed together, and shared a lifetime of memories. Friendships like that are rare. They’re a blessing. So today, on Friendship Day, I’m thinking of you, my dear friend.
