Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni’s debut film ‘Srinivasa Mangapuram’ continued its theatrical run with lower earnings on its second day.The romantic action drama is directed by Ajay Bhupathi and also marks Rasha Thadani’s debut in Telugu cinema.According to Sacnilk, ‘Srinivasa Mangapuram’ collected an estimated Rs 94 lakhs net in India on Day 2. The figure is 24.8% lower than the Rs 1.25 crore earned on its opening day. The film was screened across 1,586 shows on Friday.

India collections cross Rs 2 crore

‘Srinivasa Mangapuram’ has taken its total India net collection to Rs 2.19 crore. The film’s India gross collection now stands at Rs 2.45 crore after two days in theatres.

Occupancy remains steady throughout the day

The Telugu version recorded an overall occupancy of 18.74% on Day 2.Morning shows registered 14.69% occupancy. The numbers improved during the afternoon, reaching 19%. Evening shows recorded the day’s highest occupancy at 19.08% before dipping slightly to 15.46% during the night shows.

Romance meets action and family conflict

Written and directed by Ajay Bhupathi, ‘Srinivasa Mangapuram’ combines romance, action and family drama. The story unfolds against the backdrop of Tirupati before shifting to Ballari, where family rivalries become central to the narrative. The film follows Vasu Babu, played by Jaya Krishna, who falls deeply in love with Manga, portrayed by Rasha Thadani. Their relationship takes an unexpected turn when circumstances lead them into a violent family conflict connected to Vasu’s grandfather.Venkatappa Naidu, played by Mohan Babu, is introduced as a feared gangster whose past becomes intertwined with the couple’s lives.

Memory loss changes the couple’s journey

A tragic incident leaves Manga suffering from memory loss, changing the course of the story. Unable to remember her past or the man she once loved, she begins a new chapter in her life without those memories.The romantic drama explores whether love can survive even after memories disappear.
