As expected, the film has slowed down during the weekdays, but it continues to add to its overall collections across India.According to the latest live estimates by Sacnilk, the film has earned an estimated Rs 98 lakhs net in India on Day 6. The movie is currently playing across 3,106 shows nationwide. Tamil version continues to drive business
The Tamil version remains the biggest contributor to the film’s collections. On Tuesday, it collected an estimated Rs 82 lakhs net.The Hindi version contributed approximately Rs 9 lakhs while the Telugu version added another Rs 7 lakhs to the overall total. The movie is currently being screened in 1,364 Tamil shows, 1,419 Hindi shows, and 323 Telugu shows, taking the overall show count to 3,106 across the country. The Tamil version registered an overall morning occupancy of 19.08%, comfortably leading among the three language versions. The Telugu version followed with 14.90%, while the Hindi version recorded 8.58% during the morning shows. These figures are expected to improve as more audiences turn up for afternoon, evening and night shows.
Collections decline after strong opening weekend
‘Jana Nayagan’ opened its weekday journey after posting impressive weekend numbers. The film collected Rs 32 crore net on its first Sunday before witnessing a significant, upto more than 50 % of decline to Rs 10.15 crore net on Monday.
OTT release still awaiting official confirmation
While the theatrical run continues, there has been no official announcement regarding the film’s digital premiere. Reports suggest that Jana Nayagan could arrive on ZEE5 sometime in mid-August 2026, following its theatrical release on July 23. However, the makers have not confirmed the streaming date.
