Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Dr Doom is one of the most exciting aspects of the upcoming film. Recently, during his talk at the San Diego Comic-Con, ‘Fantastic Four’ leading star Pedro Pascal opened up about his character’s relationship with Dr Doom and how he views the entire concept as an actor. Pascal teased some details about the upcoming film and shared that his character, Dr Reed Richards, does not take any responsibility for Victor Von Doom’s actions. Pedro Pascal teases details about Dr Reed Richards and Dr Doom’s relationship
Recently, the entire cast of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ joined the Marvel production team at the San Diego Comic-Con to announce new details about the film. Later on, while talking to Entertainment Weekly about the film, Pascal revealed some details about the relationship his character Dr Reed Richards shares with Victor Von Doom.The actor revealed that he sees their bond through the eyes of his character Richards, who wishes to take no responsibility for the main antagonist and his questionable actions. He added, “Intellectuals understand that we’re all responsible for ourselves.” The actor further added that, “The world that we’re in, and the way that I understand it through Reed, at least, is very singular to the relationship that I have to Doom, and I guess there is a big barrier between the context that we all have as audience members to the experience of Avengers, and the incredible way that all of it is threaded together as we have X-Men sitting with us in this group. ”Pedro Pascal, who is also known for his roles in ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’, ‘The Last of Us’, and ‘Materialists’, first appeared in the MCU with ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’, which also starred Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Julia Garner in the leading roles.
About ‘Fantastic Four’
The ‘Fantastic Four’ franchise first started in the 2000s, where Ioan Gruffudd and Julian McMahon appeared as the main arch-nemesis in the films. Later on, when the characters were recast in the new version of the film, actors Miles Teller and Toby Kebbell starred as Dr Reed Richards and Dr Doom, respectively.A brand new footage of the upcoming ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ film premiered at the Hall H presentation at the Comic-Con event, which showed how Sue Storm was connected to Victor Von Doom and understood his past and how he lost his family. The teaser also ended up revealed that another one of the original characters from the ‘Avengers’, Peggy Carter, will also be joining the gang in the upcoming film. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is slated to release in December this year.

Along with ‘Doomsday’, Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Home’ will be released in theatres on July 30 in India, and July 31 in the US. Along with that, during the Comic-Con panel, the studios announced new and upcoming projects under the MCU, which included ‘The Last Walk’ actor David Jonsson being cast as King T’Challa’s son, and the new Black Panther.
