The much-awaited meeting between the government and CJP over the paper leak issue remained uncertain initially. The meeting was scheduled to take place at the Constitution Club of India, but was later shifted to the nearby Vitthal Bhai Patel House. According to sources, the meeting finally began in room number 4004 of VP House. The government was represented by JP Nadda and Dr. Jitendra Singh, while CJP representatives Saurabh Das and Ashutosh Ranka participated in the discussion. Before the meeting, government representatives held consultations to decide the strategy for addressing the demands raised by the protesters. CJP has continued to remain firm on its key demand of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation and has indicated that the protest will not end without accountability being fixed. The government, meanwhile, is trying to find a solution through dialogue and discussions. All eyes are now on the outcome of the meeting and whether both sides can reach a compromise or if CJP will continue with its agitation and intensify the protest.
