During one of her latest appearances, Sharon revealed that Ozzy already knew that he was on the verge of dying. While sitting in a live bar while featuring on the ‘Forging Metal’ podcast with BBC, she shared that his doctors had already informed him that his health had been deteriorating rapidly. She commented, “Ozzy knew that he was dying. He was told two weeks before the show that he was dying, and they said ‘don’t do the show’. He said, ‘Yeah, right. Get out of here’.” The musician passed away on July 22 last year after fighting a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Sharon also revealed that the doctors had advised him to not perform at his final concert as he was too sick to get up on stage. She also shared that the musician made the most of his time in his last two weeks ahead of his passing. She added, “[It] was the happiest I had ever seen him. It was just so great to see him every day smiling. I can’t forget what Birmingham did for Ozzy, it’s who my husband is, what he is and will always be. He wasn’t one of those guys who got rich and famous and started to talk like he went to Oxford.”During the interview, she also looked back on some of his favorite moments, including how he made King Charles laugh hysterically.
