After months of uncertainty surrounding its censor clearance and an online piracy scare, Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ is finally gearing up for its theatrical release on July 23. Reflecting on the film’s challenging journey, producer Venkat K. Narayana has revealed that Vijay, Yash, and Sivakarthikeyan stood firmly by the team during the crisis. Calling Yash the “biggest pillar” and recalling Sivakarthikeyan’s personal gesture of support during the censor controversy, the producer praised the actors for giving the team confidence to overcome every hurdle before the film’s much-awaited release.

Speaking about the difficult phase in an interview with Gulte, Venkat K. Narayana expressed gratitude to Vijay, Yash and Sivakarthikeyan for their encouragement. He said, “Vijay Sir stood strongly by us. Yash Sir was the biggest pillar, and Sivakarthikeyan Sir personally met me and expressed his concern.”The producer says the support gave the team the confidence to keep going forward, despite the uncertainty around the film’s release.
