“Today’s parents are design-conscious, values-led and attuned to cultural shifts, and they expect the brands they choose to reflect that. Stella McCartney and Bugaboo are pioneers in their respective fields, both renowned for thinking beyond the expected and challenging industry conventions. Stella has redefined the codes of high fashion and responsible design, while Bugaboo has, for more than two decades, reimagined mobility for parents through cutting-edge innovation,” said Adriaan Thierry, CEO of Bugaboo. “By uniting Stella McCartney’s unique creative vision with Bugaboo’s heritage of functional design and engineering excellence, we have created a collection for a new generation of parents who refuse to compromise on function, style or values.”

For Bugaboo, the partnership signals a major return to fashion co-branding after more than a decade: in the past, the Amsterdam-based company forged high-profile collaborations with the likes of Missoni, Diesel and, more recently, New York streetwear label Kith. The alliance with the British designer is part of a strategy to bolster the brand’s cultural relevance and its positioning within the realm of ‘conscious luxury’.

The collection reinterprets parenting essentials, blending Bugaboo’s functional engineering and cutting-edge design with Stella McCartney’s distinctive aesthetic and ethical approach. In terms of materials and environmental impact, the range underscores the brands’ shared commitment to sustainability, featuring recycled polyester fabrics made from plastic bottles, low-water dry-dyeing processes, recycled aluminium and bio-based components.

“As a mother, I want what I create to reflect the world I want to help build. Our collaboration with Bugaboo came about quite naturally, as it is a brand that shares our dedication to innovation and responsibility. This collection is designed for every mum who wants to express her personality and playful side while navigating parenthood,” said Stella McCartney.
