Rajesh Sharma discharged from hospital after health scare ‘Fauzi’ set

Rajesh Sharma discharged from hospital after health scare on Prabhas' 'Fauzi' set, FWICE shares health update: 'He will resume work in a few days'

Veteran actor Rajesh Sharma, who has delivered memorable performances in films like ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘Special 26’, is on the road to recovery after a recent health scare. The actor was hospitalised after reportedly suffering an insect bite while shooting for Prabhas’ upcoming film ‘Fauzi’ at Ramoji Film City. Later, his condition deteriorated, and he was admitted to a hospital in Dhakuria, West Bengal, where he was kept under medical observation. The actor was discharged and is recovering well now, and this latest update has come as a relief to his fans.

FWICE confirms Rajesh Sharma’s recovery

Sharing an update on the actor’s health, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari confirmed to India Today that Rajesh Sharma has completed his treatment and returned to Mumbai. He said, “He has recovered well and has already come back to Mumbai from Kolkata, where he was hospitalised. His sugar levels had shot up, leading to complications, but he is doing well now. He will resume work in a few days.”The update has reassured fans and industry colleagues who were concerned after reports of the actor’s critical condition surfaced earlier this week.

What had happened to Rajesh Sharma?

Earlier, actress Sudipa Chatterjee had shared details about the incident that resulted in Rajesh Sharma’s hospitalisation. According to her statement, the actor was chatting with local technicians in an area surrounded by dense vegetation after the day’s shoot when an insect, possibly a bug or a poisonous spider, bit him. Since the bite initially appeared to be minor, he did not seek immediate medical attention and travelled back to Kolkata. However, his health deteriorated during the journey as he developed a high fever, breathlessness and a severe infection in his right leg, requiring urgent hospitalisation.

Fans await Rajesh Sharma’s return to the sets

Now, with doctors giving him the go-ahead to go back home, Rajesh Sharma is expected to resume filming in the upcoming days, once he has fully recovered. The actor’s speedy recovery has been good news for his fans and colleagues, many of whom had wished him well after hearing about his condition. While Prabhas’ Fauzi is still in production, the veteran actor is rumored to be back in action soon. Go to Source
