Excitement surrounding Ramayana continues to grow ahead of its upcoming promotional event in Delhi. Adding to the anticipation, renowned sitar maestro Rishab Rikhiram Sharma shared a fresh set of photographs featuring key members of the film’s team on social media.The pictures showed Rishab posing with Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra. Rishab, who trained under the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar, has earned recognition for taking Indian classical music to audiences around the world.

Unique watch catches fans’ attention

Apart from the celebrity photographs, one image stood out because of the distinctive orange wristwatch worn by the sitar maestro. The dial featured artwork inspired by the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, along with engravings of Lord Ram and Hanuman, making it a visually striking accessory.Another photograph captured Rishab immersed in a sitar performance, highlighting the musician’s artistry while adding a spiritual touch to the overall post. Fans appreciated both the symbolism of the watch and the connection between Indian classical music and the epic.

‘Ramayana’ trailer to premiere worldwide on July 24

Earlier, producer Namit Malhotra and the makers officially confirmed that the first trailer of Ramayana will be unveiled globally on July 24. The announcement was accompanied by a special message celebrating the timeless legacy of the epic.The makers wrote, “From Bharat to the world. For thousands of years, the Ramayana has inspired generations through its timeless ideals of dharma, maryada, courage and compassion. Now, it begins a new journey. One of Bharat’s greatest civilisational epics, presented to the world at a scale never attempted before in Indian cinema. The Ramayana trailer premieres worldwide on July 24.”

Star-studded cast brings the epic to life

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana features an ensemble cast portraying some of the most iconic characters from the Indian epic. Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi takes on the role of Sita. Ravie Dubey has been cast as Laxman, while Yash will essay the role of Ravan.

Two-part release planned for the epic saga

Designed as a two-part cinematic event, the makers are planning an extensive theatrical rollout over two consecutive years. The first instalment is scheduled to arrive in cinemas during Diwali 2026, while the concluding chapter is expected to be released during Diwali 2027. Go to Source
