The promotional campaign for Nitesh Tiwari’s epic ‘Ramayana’ is officially underway!With the Bharat Mandapam event set to take place in New Delhi later today, the film’s star cast – Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol and Kunal Kapoor were spotted at the airport on Saturday, as they departed for the national capital.Videos of the actors arriving at the airport have taken social media by storm with the paparazzi spotting the leading cast assembling at the airport to catch their flight out of the city. Ranbir, who essays the role of Lord Ram, was spotted in an all-black tracksuit and sunglasses. The actor, in a sweet gesture to the paparazzi, touched his hand to his heart and blew a kiss before pointing to the sky. In another video, Sai Pallavi, who plays the role of Sita, was spotted arriving in a simple salwar suit, keeping a low profile as she made her way out of the airport and to her car, surrounded by security and her team.Actor Sunny Deol, who plays the role of Hanuman, was also seen stopping to pose for the shutterbugs before heading into the Mumbai airport. Joining him, was actor Kunal Kapoor, who reportedly plays the role of Indra Dev. Rocking a casual outfit, he was seen arriving at the airport with a bag strapped around his shoulder. According to reports, the cast is headed to Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, where the makers will host the grand event that marks the official launch of Ramayana’s promotional campaign and will feature an exclusive preview of the film’s first trailer ahead of its worldwide and digital release on July 24. Producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari are expected to be present alongside several members of the cast, including Arun Govil, Ravi Dubey, Shobana, Rakul Preet Singh, Ajinkya Deo and the film’s antagonist, Yash.Billed as one of the biggest cinematic events in Indian film history, with a budget of over Rs 4,000 crore, the grand launch event is expected to offer audiences their first extended look at the ambitious mythological spectacle, nearly a week before the world can feast their eyes on the clip when it debuts at Comic Con next week.Following the Delhi launch, the ‘Ramayana’ team will fly out to San Diego to commence their grand international rollout of the film at Comic-Con 2026, where the trailer will be showcased to a global audience before its Diwali 2026 release.As per reports, the team has also planned to promote their film at TIFF.
