Grenz revealed that Neill had been working non-stop for the past year, with four consecutive projects now waiting to be released to audiences. Four final projects await release

Neill completed work on ‘The Last Resort’, a romantic comedy directed by Donald Petrie. The film features an ensemble cast including Daisy Ridley and Alden Ehrenreich, with Neill taking on one of the main supporting roles. The production represents Neill’s venture into the romantic comedy genre alongside established stars in the ensemble.

Neill passed away following his admission to a hospital in Sydney, Australia. The veteran actor passed away from pneumonia. His family has requested that, rather than sending flowers, those wishing to pay tribute to the actor consider making donations to charities and organisations that reflected Neill’s lifelong passions and values.

Grenz indicated that the Dunstan Hospital Foundation and The Snowdome Foundation have been recommended as recipients of family donations. The family also encouraged donations to charities supporting the sustainability and conservation of New Zealand’s native wildlife, forests, and landscapes, including the New Zealand Nature Fund and Sustainable Tarras. These recommendations reflect Neill’s documented commitment to environmental conservation and his deep connection to his native country.According to TMZ, Neill’s family plans to honour his wishes with a private memorial service at his farm in New Zealand keeping the tribute intimate and in keeping with the actor’s personal values.

Over the years, Neill has worked on several critically acclaimed movies and TV shows. He has worked in films such as ‘The Hunt for Red October’, ‘The Piano’, ‘Dead Calm’, ‘Peaky Blinders’ and ‘Sleeping Dogs’ to name a few, and has proven himself to be quite versatile as a performer.His role as Dr. Alan Grant, the know-it-all reluctant dinosaur expert in the original ‘Jurassic Park’ is one of the most iconic in the franchise.
