Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s visit to the UK proved to be quite fruitful for the couple. According to recent reports, after meeting with her father, Prince Harry gave a rare update about King Charles and his health.

Prince Harry gives rare health update about King Charles after meeting him with his family

King Charles had been public about his cancer diagnosis since 2024, and had been undergoing chemotherapy since then. Since then, however, the Royal Palace has not shared many updates about his health, even though the King regularly attends public events. While attending the Time100 Sports Gala in New York City on Thursday evening, Prince Harry ended up sharing a rare update about his father’s health, according to reports from Page Six. A statement from the report read that the Prince had been telling people at the gala event that his father is “doing great.” The Prince also commented about his family and shared how everyone is happy to be back in Montecito. “The kids are growing like weeds,” he added while talking about his seven-year-old son, Prince Archie, and his five-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, to one of the fellow guests at the event.

About Prince Harry’s speech at the gala

Prince Harry was also invited on stage to address the crowd and give a speech. Talking about the Invictus Games event in the UK, he shared, “Sport isn’t just entertainment and competition. Sport is medicine. Around Invictus, we call it ‘service after service’ because our service to others never ends.” He concluded his remarks by adding, “And in the end, that is the ultimate power of sport. It brings us back to ourselves. And long after the medals are won and the records are broken, and the crowds have gone home, what remains isn’t the scoreboard. It’s the person sport helped us become.”

About Prince Harry and Meghan Markle meeting King Charles

In the beginning of July, Prince Harry, Markle, Archie, and Lilibet, while they were in the UK, met up with King Charles. The family had gathered together at Highgrove House on July 10, where they all had a private meeting. Queen Camila was also present there along with the King, as the two met their grandchildren for the first time in 4 years. While Prince Harry has been talking about reconciliation with his family for more than a year now, his efforts did not fully meet his expectations from his visit. His only brother, Prince William, was not present at the residence. Instead, he had been a few miles away, attending one of his annual polo events along with his wife, Kate Middleton. The two brothers have had a major fallout and are unable to see eye to eye on various matters. Go to Source
