Indian man Anshul Kuncha's murder in Philadelphia: 14-year-old boy arrested, charged

14-year-old arrested in Philadelphia for shooting Indian man Anshul Kuncha (left) who was delivering pizza.

A 14-year-old boy, Sincere Camps, has been arrested and charged with murder after Indian man Anshul Kuncha, who went to deliver a pizza, was shot to death in Philadelphia. The incident took place on June 5 when Kuncha was lured to a vacant apartment to deliver an order of three pizzas. Surveillance footage revealed that when Kuncha arrived to deliver the order, two people in dark-colored clothing were following Kuncha as he walked from his vehicle after arriving at the location.Police said three pizza boxes and a bag were found inside the vacant property. Investigators said the food did not appear to have been opened or touched. After Kuncha kept the order, he was shot outside. When officers responded to the scene, Kuncha was still alive, though unresponsive. He was pronounced dead when he was taken to a nearby hospital.Following the investigation, police arrested Sincere Camps, a 14-year-old boy, from Philadelphia, on Friday, July 10, 2026. He is charged with murder, robbery, VUFA and related offenses. Many questions are still unanswered as to who was the other person along with Camps seen in the surveillance footage, who placed the pizza order, whether there was anyone at the vacant flat etc. Police said the motive of the murder was robbery though initially they said none of Kuncha’s possession was stolen.Anshul’s family in India said he went to the US for higher education and completed his Master’s in Business Analytics at Drexel University and was working full-time with an MNC. On weekends, he used to work part-time at a pizza outlet.
