Varun Tej will next be seen in the upcoming Korean horror-comedy film ‘Korean Kanakaraju’. The teaser of the film has been officially unveiled by pan-India star Prabhas.

In the 2 minute teaser, Varun Tej’s character is seen introducing his village Penugonda of the Rayalaseema region in Andhra Pradesh. He further talks about the beautiful people who reside there. The film is shown to be based in Korea and this where a change takes place as Varun Tej says, “Hey Who’s that? You’re playing a video that doesn’t match what I’m sayin”.
Varun Tej as Korea Kanagaraju
Visuals of his village are being shown and Varun Tej can be seen who’s name is Kanagaraju. His character is shown as a strong, hot headed and fiery character who gets angry very quickly. He is also shown to be an alcoholic who will find any reason to have a drink. His life changes when he meets a girl. Ritika Naik who plays the female lead gets introduced who seems to be working on her visa. She is shown speaking in Korean.Later, as Kanagaraju discusses the girl with his friend at the bar they drink, a vase across their table lights up. The vase is not like an ordinary one, it has a Dragon made on it.Kanagaraju transforms into someone with the humongous superpower. His eyes color changes to blue and whenever someone says Korea he seems to get there like a ghost. He has turned into Korea Kanagaraju. At the end the makers show an unseen version of Varun Tej, who seems to have lost a middle finger, has tattoos and is surrounded with henchmen, hinting that he is part of a Korean mafia.
