While he did not directly say that Yelena will be making a comeback on the big screen, his comments did spark debate among fans about the possibility. While attending the BiliBili World in Shanghai on Saturday, according to Entertainment Weekly reports, the official stated that fans of Florence Pugh’s character may not have to wait until ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ to see her back in action in the MCU.He commented, “If you’re a fan of Yelena, wait until Avengers: Doomsday. Yelena plays a big part in that, but if you don’t want to wait until then, you might see Yelena a little bit sooner in the movies.” Between now and the release of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ in December, only the Tom Holland starrer is being released; fans have wondered whether she will make an appearance in the film somehow.
