‘I, Nobody’ box office collections day 1: Prithviraj Sukumaran’s thriller opens at Rs 2.20 crore

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s latest release ‘I, Nobody’ has opened to a good start at the Indian box office. The crime thriller, directed by Nisam Basheer, has also received good reviews.According to Sacnilk, ‘I, Nobody’ collected an estimated Rs 2.20 crore India net on its opening day. The film was screened across 1,403 shows nationwide. The India gross collection stands at Rs 2.55 crore and the India net total has reached Rs 2.20 crore.

Occupancy improves as the day progresses

The Malayalam version witnessed a gradual increase in occupancy. The film recorded an overall occupancy of 26.71% on Day 1.Morning shows registered 20.17% occupancy before easing to 18.58% during the afternoon and the audience response picked up in the evening as occupancy climbed to 25.67%. The strongest performance came during the night shows, which recorded 38.33% occupancy.The film also had a limited Tamil release. In Chennai, the Tamil version was screened across four shows and recorded an overall occupancy of 44.7%. Notably the final show of the day witnessed 100% occupancy.Directed by Nisam Basheer, I, Nobody tells the story of Rajeevan, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, whose life changes dramatically after a failed bank robbery. ETimes described the film by saying, “The film is a watchable thriller with enough engaging moments.
