‘Alpha’ hits Rs 63 cr on first Monday; eyes Rs 100 cr mark

‘Alpha’, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead, continued its steady run at the box office on Monday, maintaining momentum after a strong debut weekend.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, ‘Alpha’ collected an estimated Rs 3. 85 crore net in India on Day 4. The film also grossed approximately Rs 4.54 crore domestically across 6,997 shows. This, in turn, takes the film’s total India gross collection to an estimated Rs 45.34 crore and its India net collection to Rs 37.85 crore.

‘Alpha’ international box office collections

The film also continued its consistent run overseas, and earning an estimated Rs 1.50 crore gross on its fourth day. This pushed its total overseas gross collection to Rs 18.30 crore, taking its worldwide gross to an estimated Rs 63.64 crore.

‘Alpha’ hits Rs 50 crore mark in first weekend

The film opened with an estimated Rs 9.25 crore net in India on Friday before witnessing healthy weekend growth. Its collections rose to Rs 11.50 crore net on Saturday, while Sunday emerged as the film’s biggest day at the domestic box office, with an estimated Rs 15.90 crore India gross. The strong weekend performance suggests the film picked up among urban audiences, particularly at multiplexes and metro cities, contributing significantly to its earnings. Set within YRF Spy Universe, ‘Alpha’ features Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead, alongside Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. The spy thriller crossed the Rs 50 crore worldwide milestone over its opening weekend, propelled by positive word of mouth and favourable reviews.

The collections are rather impressive as it is also the first female-led instalment in the YRF Spy Universe and the action film genre.The film is now on its way Rs 100 crore mark. The film can look forward to hitting the milestone in its first week at the box office.
