“I don’t fear these…”: Candace Owens reignites Erika Kirk feud during Tyler Robinson hearing in Charlie Kirk case

Candace Owens used social media on July 6 to challenge the preliminary hearing involving Tyler Robinson, the man charged in the assassination of Charlie Kirk. In two posts shared on X, Owens described the hearing as a “show trial” and argued that the process was unfair to the defense. Her comments came as prosecutors in Utah began presenting evidence in a hearing that will determine whether the case moves forward to a full trial. Owens also took aim at Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, while urging her followers to remain committed to what she called a fight for the truth.

Candace Owens questions evidence and court process in Tyler Robinson hearing

In her first post, Owens claimed that some evidence would be presented before the defense had a chance to fully examine it. She argued that key materials from federal agencies had not been turned over and criticized a judge’s decision allowing testimony from Lance Twiggs, a witness whom the defense cannot cross-examine during this stage of the case.Owens wrote in part:“Today the Tyler Robinson show trial begins. Evidence like text message confessions will be allowed in the court room, despite the fact that Tyler’s defense has not been allowed to vet those messages to determine if they were doctored or who actually sent them.” She also wrote: “Today is about emotion. You will hear the Fed’s narrative absent any ability for the defense to meaningfully dispute it.” The post ended with a message to supporters, saying, “Charlie’s army is growing. Ultimately, truth will win.”Her comments reflect the position she has taken for months while discussing Kirk’s death. Owens has repeatedly questioned parts of the official investigation and has produced extensive content focused on the case. That stance has brought her into a public dispute with Erika Kirk, who has previously pushed back against conspiracy theories surrounding her husband’s death.

A short time later, Owens shared a second post that carried a more personal and emotional tone. She wrote: “One more fight, Charlie. ✝️ I don’t fear these demons. We will win.”The message appeared to frame the legal battle as something larger than the courtroom itself, a theme Owens has frequently used while discussing the case.Meanwhile, the hearing in Utah is focused on a narrower question: whether prosecutors have enough evidence to take Robinson to trial. According to Reuters and the Associated Press, prosecutors are expected to present DNA evidence, video footage, a handwritten note, witness testimony and alleged confession messages as part of their case. Robinson, 23, faces multiple charges, including aggravated murder, and prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. The hearing also marks the first time Erika Kirk and Charlie Kirk’s parents are expected to be present in court with Robinson. The family released a statement before proceedings began, thanking supporters while describing the past months as an extremely painful period in their lives. Go to Source
