'Write- I'm sorry': ‘Phillies Karen’ offered $5,000 to return boy’s home run ball- on one condition

Phillies Karen shouting at Drew Feltwell after he caught the ball

The woman nicknamed “Phillies Karen” after snatching a home run ball from a 10-year-old boy at a Phillies game is now being offered $5,000 to give it back. But there’s a twist: She must autograph the ball and write “I’m sorry” on it. Blowout Cards, a major trading card company, announced the deal, saying the ball would then be returned to the boy, Lincoln Feltwell. “Our offer is official and the offer is firm,” the company posted on its website.

Viral “Phillies Karen” video

The saga began last week, during the Philadelphia Phillies vs Miami Marlins game at loanDepot Park in Miami. Phillies center fielder Harrison Bader hit a home run into the left-field stands. Drew Feltwell caught the ball and handed it to his son Lincoln, who beamed as he held it tight. Moments later, Phillies Karen confronted them.Cameras caught her pointing to the spot where the ball had landed and shouting, “That was in my hands.” Fans nearby said she demanded the ball until the father gave it up. Chants of “Karen! Karen!” broke out in the stands as she walked away. The clip spread quickly online. One fan even made a “Wanted” poster of her, and social media buzzed with the question, “Who is Phillies Karen?” While the woman left with the ball, the Marlins tried to cheer up Lincoln by giving him a gift pack as the crowd applauded. After the game, Harrison Bader met the boy, posed for photos, and signed a bat for him. The team later shared the moment online, writing, “Going home with a signed bat from Bader.”
