Catherine Zeta-Jones takes a dig at President Donald Trump while watching Shah Rukh Khan's Om Shanti Om at US Open; fans REACT

Catherine Zeta-Jones, the Hollywood icon, recently delighted Bollywood enthusiasts by sharing an Instagram story featuring her watching the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Om Shanti Om’. While waiting for Donald Trump at the US Open, she enjoyed the film and even shared a reel of the song ‘Dhoom Ta Na’.

Hollywood star Catherine Zeta-Jones has left Bollywood fans excited after sharing an Instagram story of herself watching the cult classic Om Shanti Om starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. She revealed she was watching the 2007 Farah Khan film while waiting at the US Open, and the post quickly went viral, especially on Reddit.

In her story, Catherine wrote, “Waiting for Trump to take his seat at the US Open. Enjoying Om Shanti Om while we wait and wait in the car.” She also shared a reel featuring the film’s catchy song Dhoom Ta Na, which thrilled fans all over the world.

As soon as the post was shared on reddit, fans showered love in the comment section. While one fan wrote, ‘Omg guys, Shah Rukh had a crush on Catherine Zeta-Jones. Imagine your crush posting about you!’, another one added, ‘She has excellent taste’.

A longtime fan of Om Shanti Om

This isn’t the first time Oscar-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has shown her love for Om Shanti Om. In 2019, at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, she and husband Michael Douglas revealed that their family is obsessed with the film. Catherine shared that her kids grew up singing its songs, while Douglas said the soundtrack is a must-play at their Christmas celebrations. She even danced to the film’s title track with Anil Kapoor at the event. Catherine has also praised the critically acclaimed film The Lunchbox.
