NEW DELHI: Karnataka chief minister DK Shivakumar on Friday met his predecessor Siddaramaiah at his official residence, Cauvery, as he completed one month in office, describing the visit as a mark of respect and seeking the senior Congress leader’s blessings.Shivakumar, who was accompanied by his family, shared details of the meeting in a post on X, expressing gratitude for Siddaramaiah’s guidance and leadership. “As I complete one month of service as the chief minister of Karnataka, today, as a mark of respect, I visited the honorable Shri Siddaramaiah avaru at his official residence Cauvery along with my family and received his blessings,” Shivakumar said.

Praising Siddaramaiah’s leadership and administrative experience, the Chief Minister said, “Shri Siddaramaiah’s visionary leadership, vast administrative experience, and unwavering commitment to the development of the people of the state will always provide strength to our state’s journey of progress.
