Yash confirms ‘Toxic’ female cast reveal on July 1; says ‘Ladies take time to come’

Kannada star Yash has recently shared an update regarding his much anticipated ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’. Most of the content revealed recently largely focused on Yash and his characters even though the film has a strong female cast, the makers have not revealed much about them. Now, Yash has confirmed that fans will soon get to see the women of ‘Toxic’.

Yash shares new ‘Toxic’ update

In a promotional exchange, the production banner shared a playful post on X and wrote, “Where are the ladies, @TheNameIsYash?” Yash replied with a fun message as he wrote, “Calm down! Ladies take time to come! Tomorrow, 01-07-2026, 11:33 AM.”The makers seem to be sharing trailers featuring the female characters through a new promotional update on July 1 at 11:33 AM.

About ‘Toxic’

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, ‘Toxic’ features Yash in the lead role. He will be seen in a dual role in the film. The movie also has a star-studded female cast. Nayanthara as Ganga, Kiara Advani as Nadia, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, Rukmini Vasanth as Melissa and Tara Sutaria as Rebecca play important roles.

‘Toxic’ release plans

Earlier this year, the makers announced that the film’s release had been postponed from March 19 and was scheduled to arrive in theatres on June 4. However, after receiving a positive response during its presentation at CinemaCon, the team decided to revise its release plans. The team later announced that the film will hit the big screens on August 26, 2026.

The supporting cast includes Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, Amit Tiwari and several other actors in important roles.The film’s music and background score have been composed by Ravi Basrur. International action choreographer JJ Perry has worked on some of the action sequences, while the Anbariv duo has handled selected action portions.‘Toxic’ has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English.
