A tragic construction accident has claimed the lives of three workers after a wall collapsed at an under-construction resort near Jaipur in Rajasthan. The incident occurred in the Chandwaji area along the Delhi Road, where rescue teams continue searching for workers feared trapped beneath the debris. According to preliminary information, construction work was underway on the resort’s swimming pool when the accident took place. Officials said a temporary retaining wall built on a mound of excavated soil suddenly gave way, burying several labourers who were working nearby. The collapse triggered panic at the construction site as workers rushed to alert emergency services. Rescue operations were launched immediately, with local administration, police, medical teams, and disaster response personnel reaching the site. Heavy machinery has been deployed to remove the debris while rescue workers continue searching for anyone who may still be trapped. Authorities have confirmed the deaths of three labourers, including two men and one woman. Initial reports indicate that all three victims were migrant workers from Bihar. In addition, three to four workers sustained serious injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Officials have not ruled out the possibility that more workers remain trapped beneath the collapsed soil and rubble. Medical teams remain on standby at the site to provide immediate assistance to rescued workers, while district authorities are closely monitoring the ongoing operation. The priority remains locating and safely evacuating anyone still missing. The exact cause of the collapse is yet to be officially established. Authorities are expected to investigate whether safety protocols were followed during construction and if negligence contributed to the incident. A detailed inquiry is likely after the rescue operation concludes.
