A new development has emerged in the Mumbai Muharram poison capsule case, with police sources claiming that accused Faiyaz Premji allegedly used AI tools while planning the crime. Investigators say he researched the quantity of toxic substance to be used in capsules and reportedly prepared around 14,900 poisoned capsules after ordering nearly 30,000 empty capsules. Police have recorded the statement of his father in Pune, while his mobile phone has been sent for forensic examination. Investigators are also tracing how he procured zinc phosphide and examining his background, including overseas links and possible motives. Police are probing why he allegedly planned to distribute the capsules during a Muharram procession and whether anyone else was involved.
