Shah Rukh Khan once looked back on a hilarious moment with a fan who first mistook him for ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ star Akshay Kumar. Regardless of being one of the best-known celebrities in the world, the actor ended up being mistaken for someone else altogether. The moment left its hilarious imprint on the ‘King’ actor.

Shah Rukh Khan was once mistaken for Akshay Kumar

The actor sat down with Sajid Khan on his talk show ‘Yaaron Ki Baraat’, where he opened up about his life and career. During the interview, King Khan also recalled a hilarious anecdote from his past.He revealed that someone once mistook him for fellow renowned celebrity Akshay Kumar, who is known for his work in more than 100 films. He recalled that around the time when he was returning from New York and was shooting ‘Pardes’, he had to hurry back home because, at the time, his wife, Gauri Khan, had suffered a miscarriage.He added, “I was running in a hurry, and amidst all this, the handle of my bag also broke. I was absolutely confused.” He mentioned that at the airport, a lady was running after him and asking, “‘Please one photograph, one autograph’”. First, the actor checked in because he was in a hurry. Once he had settled everything, he called the lady over, who was extremely excited to see him and told him that she was a big fan of his.However, what happened next had left the actor confused, as the lady kept telling him, “‘Offf, Akshay, I love you.’” The instance left a deep impact on the actor, who still remembers the fan’s hilarious mistake to date.

On the work front, the actor will next appear in ‘King’ along with his daughter, Suhana Khan. The film is planned for a December release later this year, and is being directed by none other than Siddharth Anand, who is also known for his work on ‘War’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘Fighter.’ The announcement for the release date was made earlier in January, along with an Instagram post from the production house with the caption, “This Christmas, fear wears the crown,” while the photo had the words “ROAR” written on it.The film will surround the life of an underworld don who takes his daughter under his wing and trains her for the violent world.
