Amal Clooney opened up about how life has been after marrying George Clooney and what its like living in the limelight.

George Clooney and Amal Clooney’s relationship has always been at the forefront of headlines, and the latter has had quite a hard time dealing with it all. The 48-year-old lawyer, who has been with the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ actor since 2014, recently weighed in on what it felt like to always be in the spotlight, no matter what.

Amal Clooney gets candid about living life in the spotlight

The lawyer recently reflected on the repercussions of marrying someone with Clooney’s status, mentioning how it used to be easier when she was not always in the spotlight. While speaking at the Cartier Dialogues event in Bangkok, the 48-year-old got candid about wishing to keep her career and personal life separate.The Daily Mail reported that she shared her experiences and added, “It was easier when I could decide what kind of exposure I got. It was something new to navigate.”She continued talking about the transition, mentioning that the entire thing was “a weird phenomenon.” She continued, “I used to have my work life and my personal life, and they could look quite different, and I was able to not have them mix… and then I got married, and that changed quite a lot.”

Amal Clooney confesses that she used to be extremely conscious

According to the report, Clooney also added that at the very beginning of her and the ‘Jay Kelly’ actor’s relationship, she was very conscious. She stated that she would think about how she should not be seen wearing something specific in front of a judge. She said, “I can’t be seen wearing this dress or doing this because I’m in front of a judge on Monday, and I don’t want the judge to… but you know it just doesn’t matter as much as living your life.”However, she persevered through the feeling, adding that “Ultimately, if you’re good at what you do, that is going to shine through or not.” Clooney also shared that she has never let such things stand in the way of what needs to be done for her family.

The actor and the attorney have been married since 2014. The two of them had met a year prior, through a mutual friend whom Amal had accompanied to a party in Italy near Clooney’s Lake Como house. The two stayed in contact and started dating. In April 2014, Clooney finally popped the question, and a few months later, the two happily tied the knot.George and Amal have since welcomed twins named Ella and Alexander, both of whom are 9 years old now.
