Nepal in Flames: Protestors Storm President’s Private Residence as Clashes With Police Escalate | ABP NEWS

Nepal’s deepening political crisis has reached a new and alarming level. In an unprecedented act of defiance, hundreds of protestors stormed the President’s private residence, smashing through barricades, breaking windows with flowerpots, and forcing their way inside. Shocking images show complete chaos—damaged interiors, broken stair railings, and crowds flooding into the property. The police attempted to stop the advancing mob with heavy tear gas shelling, but were overpowered and forced to retreat. Multiple tear gas rounds were fired continuously, yet the demonstrators pushed forward with determination and rage. The protestors, mostly youth, say they’ve lost all faith in the system and won’t back down until PM KP Sharma Oli resigns. Security forces, including the army, have now fortified key locations such as Parliament House, fearing further breaches. Barbed wire barricades and armed soldiers stand ready to prevent protestors from entering more government properties. The standoff between civilians and state forces continues to escalate, and fears of more bloodshed loom. As tear gas fills the air and stones continue to fly, the message from the streets is clear: Nepal’s people are done being silent. The fight is now beyond social media—it’s for the soul of the nation.
