A major development has emerged in the alleged donation theft case linked to the Ram Temple, with sources indicating that authorities are preparing to register an FIR against six employees following findings submitted by a Special Investigation Team (SIT). According to information emerging from the ongoing probe, the SIT recently submitted its report after examining allegations related to irregularities in temple donations and offerings. Sources familiar with the matter suggest that preliminary findings point toward the involvement of six staff members, prompting preparations for formal legal action. The issue has generated significant public attention in recent weeks, with questions being raised over the delay in filing an FIR despite allegations of financial misconduct involving religious donations. Devotees and various political voices had demanded accountability and transparency in the investigation, urging authorities to take action against those found responsible. Sources further indicate that investigators have identified suspected financial discrepancies amounting to less than ₹1 crore during the preliminary stage of the inquiry. Additionally, concerns regarding procedural lapses and alleged negligence by certain banking personnel have reportedly surfaced during the investigation, although no official confirmation has been issued regarding individual responsibility. In a related administrative recommendation, the SIT is understood to have suggested the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to strengthen oversight and management mechanisms. Reports indicate that the temple trust is considering the proposal, with discussions underway regarding the appointment of a retired administrative official to oversee operational and governance functions. Officials are expected to review the SIT’s recommendations before proceeding with any formal legal action. As of now, authorities have not released an official statement confirming the registration of an FIR or naming individuals involved. Further developments are anticipated as investigators continue to examine the matter and determine the next course of action.
