David fumes at paparazzi for touching ‘Supergirl’ star Milly – WATCH

David Corenswet fumes at paparazzi for touching Milly Alcock at 'Supergirl' premiere; fans hail actor as 'real-life Superman' - WATCH

David Corenswet is winning hearts online after he proved to be a real-life Superman to his co-star, Milly Alcock. The actor, who will be seen in the upcoming ‘Supergirl’ film, attended the film’s world premiere in New York City, where he joined Milly on the red carpet. The actors, who play cousins on the big screen, were seen chatting away on the sidelines of the premiere, where they were joined by co-stars Rachel Brosnahan and Nicholas Hoult.A video from the event going viral sees the four co-stars lost in conversation when a photographer appeared to tap Milly on her back, in a bid to get her attention. However, Corenswet quickly noticed the man touching his co-star and immediately broke away from the group and stepped between the photographer and the actress. The actor could be seen extending an arm toward the photographer and scolding him while the man appeared to defend himself and taking a step back. The clip quickly gained traction online, with fans praising Corenswet’s response. Sharing the video on X, one DC fan account wrote, “Why would you put your hands on an actress at their movie premiere as a photographer.”Another said, “That’s not David Corenswet… that’s Superman protecting his cousin in real life. Heat vision loaded.”Many social media users hailed the actor’s actions, saying, “David is superman both in the movies and in real life,” while another wrote, “This is what women are talking about. There is no reason for you to put your hands on her. All the other photographers got her attention without touching her.”However, some defended the cameraman was well, saying, “He politely put his hand on her back for a second to move her in a direction for a better photo.””I don’t see anything wrong in what the photographer did. Most of you are very sensitive and reactionary in the wrong way,” said another.Corenswet made his debut as the Man of Steel in James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ and is set to reprise the role in the upcoming Supergirl film.Alcock was first introduced into the new DC Universe at the end of ‘Superman’, appearing as Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl, and taking back her pet dog, Krypto.According to the film’s official synopsis, Supergirl “reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.”‘Supergirl’ arrives in theatres on Friday, June 26.
