Gen-Z protesters who have swarmed Kathmandu streets to protest against a now-revoked social media ban attacked the house of former Nepal leader Prachanda, even as their demonstrations spilled onto the second day.

Violent protests erupted in Kathmandu on Tuesday as people took to the streets to demonstrate against alleged corruption. Notably, Nepal lifted a social media ban on Monday after anti-corruption protests that were triggered by the ban led to the deaths of 19 people.
