While ‘Dhurandhar’ released in December 2025, followed by ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ in March this year, the franchise continues to enjoy a strong hold social media till now. Infact, every film which is now released, brings back the discussion of the Aditya Dhar directorial and here’s the latest testament of that. Eagle-eyed social media users spotted a surprising connection between ‘Dhurandhar’ and the recently released ‘Cocktail 2’.Fans noticed that a road featured in ‘Cocktail 2’, which hit theatres on June 19, is the same location seen in a pivotal action sequence from ‘Dhurandhar’. In the scene, Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza launches a brutal attack on Akshaye Khanna’s Rehman Dakait before eventually killing him. Fans pointed out that this scene which features Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon is shot at the same place where Rehman was killed. Soon after the discovery, a comparison video began circulating on social media, triggering a wave of humorous reactions from fans who claimed that ‘Dhurandhar’ has permanently altered the way they watch movies. One user wrote, “Dhurandhar has spoiled us now no movie is good enough.”Another commented, “Peak detailing.” A third user joked, “No film can catch a break cause of Dhurandhar.”Several others also joined the conversation.
