The makers of ‘Demonte Colony 3’ starring Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead have unveiled the release date of the much-awaited horror film. The horror thriller is all set to hit the screens worldwide on September 11, 2026. The announcement has brought an end to months of speculation surrounding the film’s release. Earlier, reports suggested that the movie could arrive during the summer or in June, but the makers have now confirmed its theatrical release date with a spooky new update that has already created excitement among fans of the franchise.

‘Demonte Colony 3’ release date locked

The production house shared the release update on social media with a chilling message. The team wrote that the doors of ‘Demonte Colony 3’ are set to open soon and warned audiences to prepare for darkness, thrills, and nightmares. The announcement went viral on the internet immediately, and the fans could not control their excitement to return to the terrifying world created by director Ajay Gnanamuthu. The franchise has built a loyal fan base over the years, and the third installment is expected to take the horror experience to a much higher level than before.

Shoot wrapped after an extensive international schedule

The film had already completed shooting in April this year. Producer Sudhan Sundaram revealed that the project was mounted on a large scale and filmed across several locations, including Portugal, Malta, Leh-Ladakh, and Chennai. Although there were several difficulties shooting in different countries and different locations, the director was able to complete the whole film shoot in just 80 days. This effort on the part of the director earned praise from the producer, along with the hard work of Arulnithi and all the cast and crew.

Bigger scale, global vision for the horror franchise

Director Ajay Gnanamuthu earlier stated that ‘Demonte Colony 3’ is created in such a way that it will cater to all audiences irrespective of their region. As per his words, the team is working hard to make this movie a grand theatrical show. Alongside Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar, there is an equally impressive supporting cast in this film. Music for the film has been taken care of by Sam CS, whereas visuals have been done by Sivakumar Vijayan. With post-production going on well and the release date finalized, there are high hopes for this horror Tamil film.
