BREAKING: Yogi Adityanath slams SP, Anurag Bhadoria responds over Ayodhya donation box row updates

A sharp political exchange unfolded after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a strong attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP) over its statements regarding alleged irregularities related to donation boxes in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister accused the opposition of politicizing religious sentiments and claimed that such narratives were being used to create unnecessary controversy. He also criticized SP leaders for what he described as provocative and misleading remarks on sensitive religious matters. Responding to these allegations, Samajwadi Party spokesperson Anurag Bhadoria defended his party’s position, stating that raising questions on reported irregularities is not politics but a matter of public accountability. He argued that the party has consistently spoken up whenever issues related to religious institutions, public trust, or administrative conduct have surfaced. According to him, the intention is not to target faith but to ensure transparency and proper investigation. Bhadoria further questioned why concerns raised earlier were being labeled as politically motivated, insisting that when administrative lapses are reported, it is the responsibility of opposition parties to demand clarity. He also referred to ongoing investigations and said that the formation of SITs and other probes should lead to a fair and unbiased outcome. On the other hand, the Chief Minister emphasized that investigations must proceed without political pressure or public speculation, warning that repeated public statements could influence the process. He urged all parties to allow investigative agencies to complete their work and present factual findings. The exchange highlights the growing political tension between the ruling party and the opposition in Uttar Pradesh, especially on issues linked to Ayodhya and religious sentiment. While the government stresses restraint and due process, the opposition continues to demand accountability and quicker legal action. The matter is expected to remain politically sensitive as investigations continue.
